Senior Insurance Specialist - Adelaide

Commonwealth Financial Planning is one of Australia’s most successful providers of integrated financial services, and is a leader in the provision of investment management solutions. 

The role of the Senior Insurance Specialist is to provide comprehensive personal and business insurance advice to retail and business customers of the Commonwealth Bank.

Each Senior Insurance Specialist is accountable for his/her individual performance against set targets, the quality of advice provided and building relationships within their Financial Services Team and the Branch Network.

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • RG146 compliant in the following generic and specialist areas: Generic knowledge; Managed investments; Life insurance; Superannuation; Financial planning and skills
  • Strong relationship building skills and organisational ability
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective internal relationships with stakeholders
  • Selling and negotiation skills
  • Experience in evaluating ideas and strategies, plus demonstrating sound judgement based on data and logic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a customer sales and service role preferably with a network based banking background
  • Knowledge of the Bank’s Personal Life Insurance products
  • Remain licensed to operate as an authorised representative of Commonwealth Financial Planning
  • Maintenance of a current non-restricted drivers license for the state or territory in which the person is to be based.

Special Conditions:  Employment will be within Commonwealth Financial Planning, a division of the CBA, and will be subject to conditions of a Colonial Employment Agreement.
